Shadow Darkrai and Shadow Cresselia Raid Guide: Counters and Hundo CP

I covered Shadow Darkrai and Shadow Cresselia when they were in Shadow raids for Wild Area Global in November 2025. Shadow legendary raids run every day while they’re active, and both can be shiny.

Shadow Darkrai

• Type: Dark, so it’s weak to Bug, Fairy and Fighting.
• Raid hundo: 2136 CP, or 2671 weather boosted in Fog.
• Solo: no. Plan on three trainers, or four if it has its toughest moveset.

With Snarl and Foul Play, Shadow Darkrai is the 3rd best Dark attacker on Pokémon GO Hub, so it’s well worth catching one.

Best Shadow Darkrai counters

Fighting types are the best answer. The top counters on Pokémon GO Hub’s Shadow Darkrai counters list:

1. Mega Mewtwo X (Counter* and Dynamic Punch+)
2. Mega Blaziken (Counter and Aura Sphere)
3. Mega Lucario (Force Palm* and Aura Sphere)
4. Keldeo, Resolute Forme (Low Kick and Secret Sword)
5. Mega Gallade (Low Kick and Sacred Sword)
6. Mega Heracross (Counter and Megahorn)

Mega Gardevoir and Mega Pinsir are good backups if you’re short on Fighting types, and Terrakion works too.

These figures assume no Purified Gems. If you have some, use them: they make Shadow raids a lot easier. Need people to raid with? My Discord is friendly and always willing to help.

Shadow Cresselia

• Type: Psychic, so it’s weak to Bug, Dark and Ghost.
• Raid hundo: 1633 CP, or 2041 weather boosted in Windy weather.
• Solo: no. It’s very bulky, so plan on about four trainers.
