Step by step

How to fuse

  1. Earn Fusion Energy

Beat raids against the fused form you want, like Dusk Mane Necrozma raids for Solar Fusion Energy.

  2. Open the base Pokémon

Go to your Necrozma or Kyurem and tap Fuse.

  3. Pick the partner

Choose the Solgaleo, Lunala, Zekrom or Reshiram to fuse with. It's locked away while they're fused.

  4. Unfuse any time

Unfusing is free and gives you both Pokémon back.

    Shadow and purified can't fuse

From October 2026, Shadow and purified Pokémon can't be used in Fusions, so keep a regular copy of each.

Worth it?

Should you fuse?

Yes, if you use it

Fused forms are some of the strongest attackers in the game for their types, and they learn signature moves the separate Pokémon can't.

It costs you the partner

While they're fused you can't use the partner Legendary on its own. Since unfusing is free, you can always switch back.
