Reshiram and Zekrom Raid Guide: Counters, Hundo CP and Kyurem Fusion Tips
By Matt · Published · Updated Reshiram and Zekrom both have a raid hundo of 2307 CP, or 2884 weather boosted (Sunny or Windy for Reshiram, Rain or Windy for Zekrom). Both are Dragon types, so Eternatus, Mega Rayquaza and Mega Garchomp are the best counters. Neither is soloable: plan on two trainers. Use your low IV ones for Kyurem fusions, because the fused Kyurem keeps the Kyurem's IVs.

Reshiram and Zekrom are a must catch if you want to do your Kyurem fusions. Here’s how to defeat and catch them easily.
Reshiram
- Type: Dragon and Fire, so it’s weak to Dragon, Ground and Rock.
- Raid hundo: 2307 CP, or 2884 weather boosted in Sunny or Windy weather.
- Solo: no, it’s a duo even with maxed attackers.
Even without fusing it, Reshiram is very powerful. With Fire Fang and Fusion Flare*, it’s the 9th best Fire attacker on Pokémon GO Hub. If you have a Shadow Reshiram, it’s even better: Shadow Reshiram is the 4th best Fire attacker with the same moves.

Like Reshiram, Zekrom is very powerful outside of fusion. With Charge Beam and Fusion Bolt*, it’s the 11th best Electric attacker on Pokémon GO Hub.

Kyurem fusion tip
Only use a Reshiram or Zekrom with bad IVs in your fusions. The fused Kyurem keeps the Kyurem’s IVs, so a hundo Reshiram or Zekrom is wasted as fusion fuel.
