Notable Pokémon in Twilight Wishes

Twilight Wishes wild spawns

Clefairy, Staryu and Elgyem are out in the wild, and if you’re lucky you’ll find Rockruff too. All four can be shiny.

Twilight Wishes Field Research

Event Field Research gives Mega Energy and event encounters like Staryu and Elgyem. On top of that, Pokémon from across the season come back:

  • 24 November 10am to 26 November 10am: Applin and Maschiff.
  • 26 November 10am to 30 November 8pm: Gengar wearing a Spooky Festival costume, Drifblim wearing a Halloween Mischief costume, and Bramblin.

Applin, Gengar and Drifblim can be shiny.

Twilight Wishes bonuses

  • Increased chance of Shiny Staryu and Shiny Elgyem.
  • GO Pass Rank 1: a higher chance of Lucky Pokémon from trades and of becoming Lucky Friends.
  • GO Pass Rank 10: 2x Stardust for catching Pokémon, or 3x with the Deluxe.

Lucky Pokémon cost a lot less Stardust to power up.

Twilight Wishes GO Pass

Everyone gets the free GO Pass: Twilight Wishes automatically at 10am on Tuesday 24 November. Rewards include event encounters, a Star Piece, Rare Candy and Mega Energy for Beedrill, Houndoom, Sableye and Manectric. Claim everything by Wednesday 2 December at 8pm local time, because unclaimed rewards expire.

The GO Pass Deluxe costs US$4.99 (A$7.99), or US$6.99 with 6 ranks included, which takes you straight to Rank 7. On top of the free pass rewards, it adds more event encounters, Star Pieces, Premium Battle Passes, an event avatar pose and 3x Stardust for catching at Rank 10 instead of 2x. The avatar pose is a very large balloon, and I’m not sure why it needs to be that big. Bought on the Web Store, the Deluxe also comes with extra Ultra Balls, Max Revives, Max Potions and Premium Battle Passes. You can upgrade at any time and still claim rewards from ranks you’ve already unlocked.

All Twilight Wishes bonuses
