| Zeraora | Special Research | 1465 | n/a |
GO Fest Global 2026 was entirely free for the first time ever. Here’s what it included.
Dates
- GO Fest Global: 11 and 12 July 2026.
- In-person events: Tokyo (29 May to 1 June), Chicago (5 to 7 June) and Copenhagen (12 to 14 June).
Mega Mewtwo X and Y
- Mega Mewtwo X was in Super Mega Raids on Saturday, and Mega Mewtwo Y on Sunday. In-person attendees also got Super Mega Raids at the end of their park days.
- You got 9 free raid passes per day.
- Mega Mewtwo X and Y use two separate kinds of Mega Energy, like the fusion Pokémon do: X Energy for Mega Mewtwo X and Y Energy for Mega Mewtwo Y.
- You only got that energy from beating Mega Mewtwo X or Y. Regular Mewtwo raids gave none.
- The Mewtwo you caught had a hundo of 2387 CP, or 2984 weather boosted in Windy weather.
These raids had a lot of shields, so if you didn’t bring a Mega Pokémon, there was no point trying. For which Mega Mewtwo to build first, see my Mega Mewtwo X or Y guide.
Everything else
- Unown: every form was available from Incense, alongside the regional Pokémon Tropius and Bouffalant, and they could be shiny.
- Shiny boost for all Pokémon across the board.
- Zeraora came from Special Research. Its research hundo is 1465 CP.
- Costume Pokémon: Pikachu wearing all three team hats, plus Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle wearing visors in the wild, which could now evolve.
- Rotating habitats covered every Pokémon type.
Matt's takeThe ticket is normally around $15, so I was super happy to hear we got the full ticket value for free.
