Adventure Week 2025 Recap: Toedscool Debut and Shiny Wiglett
By Matt · Published · Updated Adventure Week 2025 ran from 29 July to 3 August 2025 and encouraged players to explore new places. It debuted Toedscool and its evolution Toedscruel, a Grass and Ground line found in forests, and debuted shiny Wiglett and Wugtrio near beaches and water. Unlike past Adventure Weeks, it didn't focus on fossils.
Adventure Week 2025 was all about getting out and exploring, with different Pokémon in each biome.
What was in the event
- Toedscool debuted, along with its evolution Toedscruel. It still surprises me that these are Grass and Ground types. Toedscool spawned in forests.
- Shiny Wiglett and Wugtrio debuted, found around beaches and water. We rarely see that blue and purple colour on a shiny.
- City, forest, mountain and beach biomes each had their own spawns, so it paid to visit different places.
Matt's takeAdventure Week not having a fossil focus wasn't a big deal for me, given we'd had a fossil event recently, and the new shiny Wiglett looked interesting, so I was happy with this event.
