Summer Concert 2025 Recap: Shiny Chatot and Huge Audino Stardust
The Summer Concert ran from 19 to 22 July 2025, from 5pm to 8pm local time each day, with Junichi Masuda as the DJ. Lured PokéStops attracted Pokémon including a shiny boosted Chatot, which had only been available in the southern hemisphere. Audino also appeared, and on 22 July the overlap with Steel and Scales meant 8,400 Stardust per Audino catch, or 12,600 with a Star Piece.
The Summer Concert was a short event with two great reasons to play: a regional shiny and a Stardust bonanza.
How it worked
The event ran 19 to 22 July 2025, from 5pm to 8pm local time each day, with Junichi Masuda, the composer for most of the mainline Pokémon games, as the DJ.
During those three hours, lured PokéStops attracted specific Pokémon, including a shiny boosted Chatot. Chatot had only been available in the southern hemisphere, and it’s a great looking shiny.
The Audino Stardust trick
Audino also appeared on lured PokéStops. On 22 July, the Summer Concert overlapped with the Steel and Scales event for one day, so each Audino catch gave 8,400 Stardust, or 12,600 with a Star Piece. Almost 13,000 Stardust per catch is huge!
The concert also made sense of a recent change to the game’s audio: the music compression was improved and tracks switched from mono to stereo, which helped Masuda’s work shine.
