July 2025 was one of the most exciting raid months in my view.
The July 2025 raid schedule
- 8 to 14 July: Solgaleo in 5-star raids, with Mega Charizard X, a top Fire attacker with a great shiny, in 4-star raids.
- 14 to 22 July: Terrakion, a top Fighting attacker with a great shiny, with Mega Blastoise in 4-star raids.
- 22 to 28 July: Lunala, a good Ghost attacker, with Mega Venusaur, the 2nd best Grass attacker at the time, in 4-star raids.
- 28 July to 4 August: Virizion, an A tier Fighting type, with Mega Aerodactyl in 4-star raids.
Matt's takeMy picks were the three Kanto starters in their Mega forms, because they're S tier in all of their categories, and also Lunala, because Gengar was my only decent Ghost type at the time.
